Year 12
At AS level pupils are encouraged to develop work through the use of sketchbooks leading to final outcomes. Working from the environment and from direct observation is at the centre of learning and pupils are taught to explore and experiment with a wide range of media and processes. Pupils connect their work with that of other artists, designers and craftspeople. The department runs art workshops as well as trips to local galleries, London and abroad.
